Intern, User Experience Research

Digital Platforms & Engineering

We are seeking a User Experience Researcher Intern to join our Digital Platforms and Engineering team to support research for our digital properties. As a User Experience Researcher Intern, you will play a crucial role in understanding our users' needs and informing the design and development of our digital products. You will work closely with the User Experience team to support Product Managers and business stakeholders to prioritize customer needs and drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in gathering and analyzing user feedback through research studies, including surveys, usability tests, and moderated interviews.

· Develop user personas to create a deep understanding of our target audience and inform product development and design decisions.

· Conduct customer journey mapping exercises to identify problems and opportunities for improvement in the user experience.

· Contribute to quantitative and qualitative data analysis to derive insights and inform decision-making.

· Support the interpretation of feedback and the translation of insights into actionable strategies.

· Contribute to the understanding of user needs and align them with business requirements.

Requirements:

· Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn about user research methods and techniques.

· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

· Interest in digital products, websites, and eCommerce.

· Basic understanding of user experience principles.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Proficiency with the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

· Currently pursuing a degree in Technology, User Experience Research and/or Design, Psychology, Science Technology, AI, or related fields.

· Experience conducting research studies, including surveys, usability tests, and moderated interviews and familiarity with creating user stories, journey maps, and personas is a plus

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is estimated to be $23.75-26.50 . Actual compensation will be confirmed at time of offer.

Compensation and Benefits The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $14.75–$45.75.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
