Job Description: The Opportunity Pluralsight is seeking a Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Engineer Intern to join our MLOps team. As a MLOps Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for assisting the MLOps team in building and maintaining the platform that supports our Data Science and Machine Learning Team. You will work closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and DevOps engineers to develop and implement MLOps solutions that meet business requirements. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in the field of ML Engineering, MLOps and cloud computing. This is a paid 12-week summer internship position from May 13th - August 2nd, 2024. This position is reserved for current college/university students that will be graduating in 2025. Responsibilities: Work closely with data scientists and ML engineers to design and implement tooling that supports the discovery, training, tracking, deployment and monitoring of machine learning models. Develop and maintain systems and code for deploying, monitoring, and scaling machine learning models in production. Collaborate with ML engineers to ensure that our infrastructure is optimized for machine learning workloads. Help develop continuous integration and delivery pipelines for ML systems. Assist in the selection and implementation of MLOps tooling and platforms, particularly those available open source or on Amazon Web Services. Conduct research on emerging MLOps technologies and share findings with the MLOps team. Requirements: A final year student in Engineering or related field at an accredited university or college Experience with the Python programming language. Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda is a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
