Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Data Science Intern for to work Remote.

Description:
The Data Science Intern will assist in testing and development of proof-of-concept applications and codebases, as well as identify and solve problems related to CAE customer workflows.
Responsibilities: • Assist in testing and development of proof-of-concept applications using recent machine learning innovations including large language models to enhance CAE customer workflows • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve problems related to CAE customer workflows in Hexagon products • Develop codebases using Python programming language for machine learning model validation and experiments
Qualifications: • Must be enrolled in a Data Science or related graduate degree program and have good academic standing • Self-motivated and proactive to learn new skills related to large language models and machine learning with Python programming language • Familiarity with Python libraries for data analysis and machine learning such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch • Experience working independently or in a team environment • Experience with CAE workflows is a plus. • Ability to work Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week during the summer break
