Responsibilities

Noblis is looking for technical interns for our 2023-2024 Internship Program! This internship would be 100% remote/virtual with varying hours

Project Description: The intern will work as a member of our Noblis strategic partnership team, providing valuable insight and contributions to tasks involving the below.

Software Engineering and Web Development Intern: • Responsible for quickly adapting to available tech stacks to create web based services or automations that will enable the partnership team to accomplish their work efficiently and to engage their customers effectively

Data Science Intern • Responsible for identifying, collecting, cleaning, accessing, visualizing, and creating information that can be used in the operations of the partnership team

Required Qualifications

What We Need From You: • GPA of 3.3 or higher • U.S. Citizenship • Undergraduate or Graduate student actively enrolled in a degree program

SWE/Web Development Intern • Seniors or graduate level with Software engineering, development, Data Science or similar • Interest or exposure to business automation • Experience using Python and at least one web/software development stack (eg. Some combination of Django, flask, React, HTML, CSS, postgres… or similar)

Data Science Intern • Seniors or graduate level with Data Science or similar • Skills in data collection, ETL, data store creation (structured and unstructured data) • Dashboard and visualization creation • BI (PowerBI, Tableau, or similar)

Desired Qualifications

Desired Skill Set for SWE/Web Development Intern: • Experience working in sharepoint (preferred, but not required) • Experience working in Power apps (Microsoft suite) (preferred, but not required) • Experience working in Confluence (preferred, but not required)

Desired Skill Set for Data Science Intern: • Interest or exposure to LLMs • Interest or exposure to business automation

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
