Position: Financial Systems & Data Analyst Intern - Summer 2024 (Hybrid)

A rapidly growing, multi-divisional company headquartered in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with services supporting all of Clark’s distribution methods in the food service industry

Clark Associates is seeking a driven and motivated Financial Systems and Data Intern to join our growing company. In this position, you’ll play an integral part in the design, testing, implementation, and evaluation of automated and manual financial systems and processes. This position provides the opportunity to deliver reliable data sources to the Business Services team and improve the efficiency of processes.

This is a full-time paid internship and will take place over the summer of 2024. This is a hybrid position, and interns are expected to commute to the Lancaster, PA office over the course of the internship.

Key Responsibilities:

o Create Power BI reports for Stakeholders and Controllers including dashboards, KPI’s, and scenario analysis

o Evaluate manual and automated financial accounting work processes, systems, and procedures for efficiency of workflow

o Work effectively in a collaborative and innovative team-oriented environment

o Act as a liaison for the Business Services team with Power BI and Access related requests

o Obtain input and feedback on reporting needs from appropriate parties

o Conduct or obtain evaluations of system performance and make modifications as necessary

o Perform analysis and data validation on new reports

o Complete ad hoc data projects and requests

o Utilize entrepreneurial spirit to create simplified solutions and improved results

Qualifications:

o Education or experience in financial or IT-related fields

o Strong self-management skills and ability to adjust as needed to meet shifting priorities

o Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

o Ambition and passion about technology and e-commerce

o Desire to learn a variety of business activities

o Knowledge of Power BI and relational databases is preferred

o Experience using SQL and Python is a plus
