Are You the Right Fit? Visual Lease (VL) is looking to hire a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern (Corporate Communications Focus) currently working toward a degree in marketing. This individual should be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills,as well as a desire to learn and provide creative ideas in a fast-paced, collaborative and innovative environment! This is a great opportunity for an individual interested in internal and external communications, including public relations, social media and employee engagement efforts. This resource will also act as a floater, addressing other marketing needs and projects across the group as opportunities for learning and the development of new skills arise. This role provides a unique opportunity to create content for a variety of channels, interact and collaborate with different departments and help manage our company intranet. What You Will Do • Support our social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) by creating content campaigns and reporting on performance. • Support with internal communications efforts, including regular company-wide meetings, announcements and newsletter(s). • Attend weekly calls with PR firm and monitor and flag noteworthy competitor news/media coverage. • Assist with internal and event logistics and coordination. • Provide support for various other entry-level marketing needs across the product marketing, demand generation and creative services groups.
Skills And Competencies • Degree-seeking student currently enrolled at a college or university, with a 3.3 GPA or higher with a concentration in relevant field. • Ability to handle multiple, ongoing assignments and projects in a fast-paced environment. • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication skills, along with excellent writingskills. • Interest in interacting with or supporting senior executives. • Displays a solid understanding of key social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, IG, YouTube), their respective participants and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios. • Previous internship experience in marketing-focused placements helpful but not required.
Additional Details • The dates of the internship will take place from January 15th – April 26th (15 weeks). It may extend into the Summer Internship Program depending on performance • This role is fully remote • An intern is not a full-time employee replacement. The internship is put into place as a learning experience • This is a paid internship • Interns are only eligible to work a maximum of 28 hours/week • Interns are not eligible for PTO time other than accrued sick time based on hours worked
