Who Are We
AI Camp ( www.ai-camp.org ) teaches the future of technology to middle and high school students, training them to become professionals, and placing the best to work for top technology companies. We aim to establish a different kind of higher education, one where students learn valuable knowledge and skills at work while avoiding crippling student debt. We want to return education to the apprenticeship model (learn-by-doing) that has worked for thousands of years. As student debt climbs to 1.7T dollars and our confidence in current higher education drops to new lows, we are battling one of the biggest problems that face the education sector today.
We are advised by top-tier technology and education professionals, including (but not limited to) several CTOs, an OpenAI fellow, and a Stanford professor. Our mission is to open doors for our students and equip them to overcome any obstacles that come their way. We are only as great as the doors we open.
About the role (Data Science Intern)
We want Data Science Instructors to mentor student teams students for our Summer Camp Program.
Dates for the internship: June 3rd, 2023 through September 1, 2023 ( online training June 3, 2023 - June 7, 2023 )
Activities : Lead/Mentor a team of 4-6 teenagers in 1 week or 3 week intervals to build a technical project (e.g. Data Science, Machine Learning, Web Dev, Large Language Model’s )
