Job Description:

As a college intern working as a Business Intelligence Analyst, your duties will vary over the summer. You will work on enhancing some of the business areas we support, including Annual Recurring Revenue, Financial and Expense Management, Time data analysis, and other projects. Some common tasks and responsibilities associated with this role may include:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data Analysis- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources
• Reporting- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Data Modeling - Develop data models to support business decisions and reporting needs.
• Business Requirements Gathering - Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Data Integration - Ensure data quality and consistency across different data sets.
• Performance Monitoring- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track performance against targets.
• Data Visualization - Create visually appealing and informative charts, graphs, and reports.
• Problem Solving - Identify issues and anomalies in data and work to resolve them.
• Data Security and Compliance - Ensure that data handling and reporting processes comply with data privacy and security regulations.
• Collaboration - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, finance, and operations.
• Continuous Learning - Stay updated with the latest BI tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Project Support - Assist in ad-hoc projects related to business intelligence or data analytics.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Experience with Microsoft Office (including Excel).
• Demonstrated experience in a team-based environment.
