Job Description: ReefPoint Group (RPG) is seeking a bright, innovative, and solution-driven candidate interested in consulting. A qualified candidate is a current graduate student in business, health care, program management, data analytics, computer science or a related field. The intern will work with RPG to solve complex problems and develop advanced solutions for our clients’ health care systems. We look for candidates who can bring their previous experiences to enhance and improve best practices as well as apply project management and solutions design principles with an interest in data integration in our focus areas. We will provide a robust introduction to the industry and give unique opportunities that are unmatched in the health care information technology (IT) field.

Responsibilities: • Help our clients tackle high visibility problems across the health care IT landscape to adopt, integrate and sustain new technologies. • Perform in-depth research, management and data analysis on health care delivery IT projects, and other topics. • Participate in collaborative brainstorming sessions to solve health sector IT challenges. • Utilize critical and analytical thinking skills to inform clients and peers in meetings, and webinars. • Support qualitative and quantitative data collection to measure, govern, and evaluate performance. • Develop presentation materials and verbally communicate analysis results and project status to client leadership. • Design, analyze, and modify administrative tasks, business processes, and project management practices. • Review literature for current industry best practices. • Prepare written materials to communicate findings to organizational leadership.

Preferred Qualifications: • Excellent organizational skills • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment • Strong, demonstrated communication and presentation skills • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities • Interest in process or performance improvement projects • Interest in management consulting • Basic understanding of data analytics and/or statistics • Demonstrated ability to formulate and complete complex analyses to solve tough challenges • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 365

Additional Information:

Due to our work with the federal government, US citizenship is required for most of the roles at ReefPoint Group, with many full-time roles requiring the ability to obtain a security clearance.
