Job description

Corporate Development Intern Summer 2024 (Remote, in office or hybrid)

An excellent internship opportunity exists at OmniMax International corporate headquarters in Norcross, GA, for a highly motivated professional who wants to work with our Corporate Development team. This internship will include the opportunity to learn about Strategic Planning and Mergers & Acquisitions strategy and execution. Interns at OmniMax will be able to work on a wide range of projects and be staffed on several assignments at a time. Typically, Intern work will include target pipeline research and management, financial analysis, competitive analysis, and transaction due diligence.

Core Responsibilities: • Assist in managing acquisition deal flow, including acquisition opportunity evaluation, and due diligence. • Conduct research for key acquisition targets and present findings to the leadership team. • Evaluate inbound acquisition and divestiture opportunities from investment banks, private equity firms, and other third parties. • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: • Current enrollment in bachelor's Program required; Business preferred. • Completion of at least 60 semester hours or equivalent at the time of participation in the program. • A minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale at the time of application. • Self-starter - thrives in environments in which he/she is pointed in the right direction but does not need to be micro-managed. • Tech-savvy - Is proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with basic financial modeling experience • Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills. • Housing is not provided.

You will participate in training during the first week of your internship. This training program will expose you to the OmniMax culture and provide a knowledge base to draw upon throughout the remainder of your internship - and beyond. Interns will participate in a Capstone Project that will be presented to our executive team at the end of the internship. Interns who successfully complete the program may be considered for full-time employment after graduation.

This program will begin approximately May 13th and will end approximately August 19th.
