HIGHLIGHTS OF A BLUE ROOM INVESTINGâ„¢ INTERNSHIP:
We consider the internship to be the pipeline to our investment team: we hire people who we think will improve our company in the long term, and we invest in developing them accordingly.
All interns will learn how to perform thorough equity research and build financial models from the ground up through the initial onboarding and training process. BLUE ROOM's work environment is highly collaborative, so we expect interns to be proactive in learning from full-time analysts. Further, we anticipate that the interns will absorb unparalleled wisdom through steady interaction with portfolio managers. We also encourage interns to work closely with one another throughout the internship.
Interns complete real projects that directly impact our investment strategies and can expect to contribute at all stages of the investment process, including idea generation, researching, and modeling.
We host a variety of virtual events throughout the internship to allow interns to get to know investment staff, as well as the rest of the firm, at a personal level.
The internship may take place either in person in BLUE ROOM's Denver, Colorado office or in remote form.
We encourage students from all backgrounds and identities to explore opportunities with BLUE Room. We are an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity - in backgrounds and in experiences. As investing is a universal tool, we need people from all backgrounds and swaths of life to help build the future of investments. BLUE ROOM's team is empathetic, caring, and supportive. We are deliberate and self-reflective about the kind of team and culture that we seek to cultivate, looking to foster interns that are not only strong in their own aptitudes but care deeply about supporting each other's growth.
