Job Description

This internship will be based at our headquarters office in Charlotte, NC. Our company is currently working in a hybrid environment, with flexibility to work remotely during the week. The Charlotte campus offers multiple amenities including a coffee shop, bistro, gym, and more!

The Sealed Air Corporate Finance Internship Program is a great way to jumpstart your career. Our Corporate Finance team is comprised of multiple departments where you will be matched based on your skills and interests.

The co-op and internship program at Sealed Air provides students with challenging and impactful projects for their assigned business unit. Each co-op or intern is assigned a designated manager and mentor to assist throughout their experience. Interns and co-ops from multiple locations around the United States will share experiences and connect with each other throughout the semester. Additionally, the program includes professional development and networking opportunities with our leaders and senior executive team, cohort activities, social events, and a final presentation of your projects to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Interns will become a full time member of our Finance team for the duration of their internship. Your responsibilities may include: • Organizing and participating in team meetings • Planning, leading and executing project work • Prepare reports and presenting results to management • Analyze and audit business results, processes and performance • Actively develop and drive improvement recommendations based on your project or responsibility area • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders • Assess internal controls, for example using COSO and Sarbanes Oxley frameworks • Deliver a final presentation to the Finance Leadership team covering your project and experience • Understand and apply policies, procedures and regulations

Qualifications • Top candidates will have completed 2-3 years of an undergraduate course in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related concentration • GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Other qualifications include: • Strong technical skills with Excel (macros, vlookups, pivot tables, etc), PowerPoint and Word • Highly motivated self-starter, able to lead initiatives as well as contribute as a team member • Strong analytical skills • Sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail and quality. • Effective prioritization and project management skills. • Ability to excel in a multi-cultural, fast paced environment. • Ability to work in the US (with sponsorship) • Strong interpersonal skills and written/oral communication skills

Able to handle individual projects assigned with diligence and thoroughness Experience with Power BI a plus for project work
